Band Profile - Thirteen Autumn Rituals
Thirteen Autumn Rituals is a metal band from Atlanta, GA. The band was formed when guitarists John Ritzel and Anthony Bush recorded a demo to break in the equipment at Hydra-Sound Recording Studio. Realizing that the self imposed retirement was lame, they decided to recruit Billy Ponder(vocals) Blair Brinkman (bass). We will be holding auditions for a new drummer in the very near future. Thirteen Autumn Rituals has been hard at work on their full length album, and are very near entering the studio to begin tracking. The album, tentatively titled "Dominion", is expected to be a 12 track aural assault that will both delight and destroy the most discerning of metal fans. Filled with layered melodies, crushing breakdowns, thrashing riffs along with spine tingling hooks...not to mention the blistering vocals...We are sure you will love listening to it as much as Thirteen Autumn Rituals has enjoyed writing it...stay tuned for progress on the album.
Influenced by bands like Slayer, Pantera, Death and Testament, the music thrashes through brutal riffs and unusual technical passages. With their intellectually stimulating lyrical tapestries, the band has opted to delve into the darkest recesses of humanity, life and death.
